A Luta Continua
Stories of injustice in the court system - Michaelhouse Cafe and King's College, February and March 2018
The show builds from the true stories of three local women who faced the court system for very different cases of asylum, domestic violence and forced adoption. With a fusion of passinho, hiphop, voguing, contemporary dance and theatre of the oppressed, dancers communicate the emotional and bureaucratic challenges involved in a court case, and in telling a testimony against a backdrop of vicious tabloid and online trolling. This show was commissioned as part of the FNTM arts fest.
